"Critics or Kritics"...
Criticism can be a wonderful thing; or it can be a "Bashing"...
The "Bashers'"... are "citing" the failure of others, the mistakes or others...
The "same" people are "really?"..."NOT" the people in the "know"???
Mistakes, errors, mis-calculations; etc... are always made in "business"... and that is not "isolated" to the Aircraft World!
Does anyone know how many times "Thomas Edison" made mistakes; made errors; made corrections? How many times he "failed"??? Few "people" before or since have had the perserverence, and "fortitude" to "lunge" ahead... to keep trying...to get it "RIGHT"...
Thank God...he kept going; I like to read by "LIGHT"...
The point is not Thomas Edison, nor is it any way connected to light. But; the conceptualization of an aircraft; the design thereof; and the dedication of "principal"... are the "fore-front"...
If "anyone" wants to compare "other" aircraft manufacturers; then do so in the "positive" "LIGHT"!!! History is a great teacher. History; can... repeat itself... We can, and "DO" learn from history; and yes...those aircraft manufacturer's that either didn't make it, or... for whatever reason went by the wayside...
The "ECLIPSE" AIRCRAFT... has the "probability, and potential" for greatness! It's founders and principals are not new to the "GAME"...
The "growth" of an aircraft/aircraft manufacturer is "akin" to getting a "shot" of "adrennalin"... The resultant is instantaneous "reaction"; and "forward momentum"...
"Every" aircraft out "here" in the world has... let's call them "problems"; but... "WE" are inherent problem solvers!!!
I myself have worked with a large share of the aircraft, and engine manufacturers out there for many years. I've seen the good, the bad, and the ugly...
If I myself had anything to contribute to the "aviation community" it was "always" the "vision" to "right what's wrong", "work out the wrinkles", "get the lead out of the britches", or... whatever it took to "simply" get the "job done", and keep "em" flying...
I got the "nick name" "Doc", not because I'm a medical doctor; I earned it "helping" "aircraft people, and aircraft manufacturers" accomplish their goals...
For "ME" "ECLIPSE" is "REAL"...and deserves respect and support; and... if "ECLIPSE" should ever knock on my door; it would be always open... and for the "reserved with reservations"... "I don't charge... to help out friends in need"...
